Colin Moore explores emotions and relationships between people and the world they live in. Through his artwork he materializes questions that should be asked, but are often ignored. As an artist, Moore feels a responsibility to bring focus to our understanding of each other, while considering our own actions. His work represents the common human experience, with all its myths and frailties. Moore creates sculptures and art objects of all sizes using materials based on required physical characteristics, or in some cases, materials that support the content of the work. Aware that we perceive three-dimensional objects by means of a primal part of the brain that creates a visceral memory, Moore uses objects and space to communicate feelings. His intention is to invite the viewer to be present and accept the moment with trust, whether fabulous or futile—it is perfect just as it is. |
